Health Update
The general online-occult-community consensus about succubi interacting with humans is that prolonged exposure will lead to degraded health over time. I remember reading this claim specifically in a Robert Bruce article about the subject.
We’re approaching year 15 and I’m nowhere close to dead yet. In fact, I’ve gained weight recently; gradually adjusting to a lower-energy lifestyle when compared to the past two decades. I’ve just gotta eat less - stop indulging like a racehorse. I suppose I also felt the need to indulge in a great deal of REAL protein consumption after being deprived in the Adventist religion for so long. My body feels as though it has finally accumulated enough essential mineral stores to go forward eating like a normal person.

Catherine encourages me to be moderate in my eating. If I eat too much, that’ll interfere in our interaction. Whenever we come together, I can literally feel a pressure over my mid-section that also covers my belly. If I’m busy digesting a big meal, it gets kinda awkward when she sits in her usual spot over me!
I’ve accumulated a couple of injuries over the past couple of years – all entirely avoidable. Every time I’ve injured myself, it’s always due to me rushing; trying to accomplish too damn much. No magical interventions from Catherine to make up for my foolishness. I can imagine her allowing those little mishaps, teaching me to be more moderate and exercise some self-control.
Overall, I feel good. No pain. No aches. I sleep like a baby at night. Hell, I can sleep whenever and wherever I want, regardless of noise or light. Sessions between me and Catherine can be dramatic or gentle, according to my preference. Workouts are strong and beneficial for both of us.
I believe I am healthier than I was 10 years ago. Mainly due to the fact that I’m not working non-stop. I was decidedly underweight back then, often pushing through injuries. Can’t do that anymore, not unless I want to accumulate more. So, I’m definitely not superman, but I feel far more at ease and able to easily weather the stressors of daily life.
Getting rid of the internet connection at home has already helped with my mental state. Having that constant connection was just too much of a drain. There was a great deal of temptation for me to infinitely scroll through information all day, absorbing superfluous data I would ultimately do nothing with. It feels great to simply wake up in the morning, make my breakfast, and pull open the antenna on my portable radio to get a quick update on the latest happenings.
Speaking of antennas, I’ve been setting up a few of them around the house, pulling in as much free TV, music, and talk from across the airwaves. So far, I’m able to pick up 35 unique and watchable TV channels, all coming in beautifully. There are countless radio stations – FM, AM, and shortwave – covering every genre and political bias imaginable. Sure, I don’t get to indulge in very narrow and specific niches, but I’ve spent the past 30 years online immersing myself in that sort of super-specialized community isolationism. I find that I enjoy challenging myself with different viewpoints and I don’t run the risk of becoming lost in an ever-shrinking echo chamber. And the best part… it’s all subscription-free, baby! Fuck you, Comcast!
I’m still debt-free, and since cutting down on all the monthly expenses, I’ve started putting more money away into savings. I’m able to have a special savings account, specifically designed for disabled welfare recipients. I can only use that money for essentials, like food, housing, and healthcare. There’s sure to be some spontaneous visits to the dentist in my future, where my fillings decide they’ve had enough and take a ride down the sink drain. Having that extra money set aside will be a big load off of my shoulders.
That about covers everything. I still haven’t figured out the whole career-and-making-a-living thing, but who has these days? I’m certainly not going to go rushing into that trap again, grasping for quick and easy money-solutions. I’ll just keep working away at my specializations and eventually something will stick. This is far from the worst period in history. Even if it all feels grey and pointless when compared to the embrace of a succubus, there’s still plenty to keep me busy when she’s not claiming ownership over my anatomy!
